Presented by Heartland Rewilding & the Atlanta Coyote Project

The third webinar in our Connect the Heartland Series will focus on the topic of coyotes and coexistence, exploring ways that humans and coyotes can share spaces and coexist peacefully. Participants will learn about the behavior and habits of coyotes, and gain a better understanding of how to avoid conflicts with these wild animals. The webinar will also cover strategies for minimizing negative interactions between humans and coyotes, such as securing garbage and removing potential sources of food. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion with the presenter, as well as hear real-life examples of successful coyote coexistence from communities across the country. By the end of the webinar, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to coexist safely and respectfully with coyotes in their communities.
