Calling all Des Moines area residents!
Come out this Sunday to Raccoon River Park in West Des Moines for the Science Festival Trail! This family-friendly event, sponsored by Science Iowa, promotes science literacy, conservation, and volunteerism. Participants will visit stations throughout the park for activities and opportunities to learn about science, the environment, and volunteer opportunities. There will be Robotics demonstrations and LIVE music by the Aviana Gedler Trio. Take-home craft and STEM activities will be available for the kids. Participants will get their passport stamped at each station and earn a bag of fun treats and gifts as well as free hot dogs, popcorn, and bottled water.
Admission is free and Heartland Rewilding will have a table so come out and join us for some fun!
