Join us for an informative session on urban wildlife in Central Iowa, designed to help you learn more about the wildlife that lives in our city and how to coexist with it. We’ll explore the reasons why wildlife lives in Des Moines and provide insights into the animals you might encounter in and around the city, including foxes, bobcats, and coyotes. Our discussion will cover the basics of these species, why they are attracted to our neighborhoods, and how to keep yourself and your pets safe. Additionally, we’ll provide guidance on what to do if you spot a coyote, fox, or bobcat. This program offers a great opportunity for you to engage with your neighbors and learn more about our wild neighbors who share the city with us. Our goal is to educate and empower you to coexist peacefully with urban wildlife.
